What is Coaching?
Finding your own direction
Coaching is a partnership. Together we create a space where you can think clearly, explore what matters to you and decide what you want to change. You set the agenda, and I’ll be fully present and listening. I’ll ask questions that help you notice patterns in how you think and work, see what gets in the way, and discover your own strengths and solutions.
I won’t tell you what to do, because you are the expert on your life. My role is to help you find strategies that genuinely fit you, turn your insights into action and keep moving forward between sessions.
Coaching might suit you if:
You know roughly what you want to change, but can’t seem to get started or keep going
You’ve tried other people’s systems and they haven’t stuck
You want to build your own ways of working, not follow someone else’s rules
You’d like support and accountability as you make changes
My coaching is trained to the standards of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).

What is Mentoring?
Learning from experience
Mentoring is more hands-on. Rather than drawing everything out of you, I share what I know: ideas, tools and practical strategies I've seen work over many years.
What mentoring offers:
Experience-informed guidance: professional knowledge alongside personal family experience, sharing what really works.
Education and awareness: understanding ADHD and executive function so you can understand yourself, and build self-esteem and resilience.
Practical know-how: strategies for structuring your day, coping with overwhelm, breaking tasks into manageable chunks, and getting started on things that feel impossible.
A flexible relationship: less structured than coaching and more conversational, with me offering guidance when you want it rather than only asking questions.
Mentoring might suit you if:
You're not sure where to start and would like some ideas to try.
You want practical advice about ADHD and executive function from someone with clinical experience & knowledge.
You're going through a big change, like starting a new job or leaving home.
You're a parent looking for strategies to support your child at home.

Bringing them together
Most people benefit from a mix of both. We might start with some mentoring to give you ideas and tools, then shift into coaching as you work out what fits you and build it into your everyday life. We’ll always agree together what kind of support is most helpful, and that can change as you go.
Not sure which is right for you?
